#BloggersFestival Event

I’m a blogger, and being a blogger, I love to socialise, that’s just what we do. So when the opportunity arises where all blogging girls from different communities can get together and meet new people and interact with new brands, I am always one to be down for that.

The gorgeous Scarlett London hosted yet another one of her amazing events on Saturday at the stunning Conrad Hotel in Westminster. What I truly love most about her events is that they always attract such a friendly bunch of people that are easy to talk to and everyone seems to get involved with the different activities the event has to offer.

Of course I attended this event with my good friend Danie who I’ve known for a while and she is just as much into the blogging community as I am!! As usual the first part of the day is stressful, especially with us two, figuring out what to wear, how to style our hair and what sort of makeup look we want to go for (I know, first world problems), but once we have all that out the way, it was time to enjoy yourselves and get as many outfit and products snaps as we could.

Stepping foot into the event we were handed a lovely glass of champaign and was greeted by waiters with a mini selection of appetisers. As usual at Scarlett’s events they had stands for different brands which included some bigger brands such as Quiz Clothing, SanDisk and TZone Skin Care and another variety of smaller brands such as Chelsea Candles, Stackers and many more. Not to mention the gorgeous rose wall that you could stand against and get your picture taken (in love)!!

One of my favourite stands at the event was for sure Chelsea Candles, these candles are hand made by a lovely woman we got speaking to and were sold for such a reasonable price. She kindly gifted me the Ginger Biscuit candle which honestly smells like Christmas in a jar, it is amazing!! She also offered bigger size candles and room diffusers as well which all smelt gorgeous.

What I love most at these sort of events is when brands really interact with the bloggers, this can include samples of their products, big Instagram photo frames to get your picture taken in, or even photo booths. Being a blogger, and also being surrounded by some many other girls who do the same as you, it is always fun to interact with the brands and get pictures with their products to promote.

I really enjoyed seeing some familiar faces at the event too. It is such a strange feeling when you spend a lot of your time speaking to different girls you ‘know‘ through Instagram and Twitter and supporting each other through blog posts and pictures and knowing them as their @ name, to finally meeting them in person and chatting to them properly. I really enjoyed this as I got to meet some girls I have known for a while and they were all just as lovely in person as they are on social media.

Scarlett London as always is so generous as well as the brands with gifting products. I received a stunning bag full of goodies from Scarlett London herself as well as 2 items from Quiz Clothing and a £50 gift voucher and many other gifts too.

I wanted to say a huge thank you to all the brands that I spoke to and also to Scarlett London for hosting yet again another beautiful event, I can not wait for the next one!!

  2. I tried to get flights over for this event but the times just didn’t suit and I’m so gutted as it looked great, wish I could have been there! I’ve heard so many others speak highly of those candles, I must get my hands on some to try!
